Big Content Peg, Small E-Learning Hole

It is understandable that subject matter experts think ALL of their content is vitally important. But as instructional designers, our job is to shoehorn their volumes of material into short, impactful e-learning courses. The old way to do this relied on interactivity and snazzy treatments to make forgettable content memorable. Unfortunately, this often produced training that, while accurate, was ineffective, lengthy, costly, and still boring.
