Now Offering Online Lectora Classes
About
2019 is sure to bring many new and exciting changes here to Interactive Advantage. The first being our partnership with Trivantis, creators of Lectora. Back in 2017, we began our partnership with Trivantis, and started teaching live Lectora classes across the country. These classes ranged from open enrollment classes that were available to the public to private onsite classes for organizations with a team of developers. Well, starting in January of 2019, we will also be conducting live virtual training that is open to anyone interested in signing up. We are very excited to continue working with Trivantis and also continue to educate and help those looking to use one of the most popular e-learning development tools.
Classes
Currently we will be offering two Online Lectora Classes:
Learn the basics of Lectora Inspire, including an introduction to many of the menus within the application and the various object properties. In this class, build an eLearning course from scratch consisting of chapters, sections, pages, and a graded test. Include a variety of media within your title to engage learners and learn how to create basic actions (such as rollovers), navigation, customized buttons, and various question types. You will also learn how to publish a title to ReviewLink, a free online review tool, and to HTML for access via the Web.
This class goes above and beyond the basic uses of Lectora, focusing primarily on the use of variables and conditional actions within a title. In this course, you'll learn how to take your Lectora knowledge to the next level. You'll use variables to track user interactivity, display both generic and user information, and conditionally branch within a title. Finally, you'll learn how to publish a title to AICC/SCORM, for use within a learning management system. (Before taking this course, you should be comfortable with creating a course structure, adding content to a title, creating buttons, and have an overall understanding of Lectora's book metaphor, inheritance, and modes. These concepts are covered in the Lectora Fundamentals training.)
