Our process uses XML, the preferred format for dealing with translatable text. This keeps your translation options flexible. Whether you use your own translators or ours, they are able to work using familiar industry-standard programs to help them translate, saving time, money, and frustration.

Our tools produce very similar XML regardless of whether your eLearning was produced in Lectora or ToolBook. Translators needn't be concerned with the peculiarities of any particular eLearning authoring system.

IAC's tools to produce the XML systematically capture the translatable text from the lesson. The translators have what they need all in one place without other distractions. Nothing gets missed, and no effort is wasted accidentally translating extraneous things.

The native translation tools offered by Lectora and ToolBook don't capture everything that our tools do. The translators are forced to also use the authoring tools, and to look in a multitude of places. Text can easily be missed and not translated!

Lessons built with IAC's optional template-based process are much easier and cheaper to localize, because common elements are systematically gathered in one place. These common elements are designed from the beginning to accommodate change.

IAC's XML-based language tools work on any lesson file built in a supported authoring tool, not just on lessons that use templates and elements designed by IAC. So, even your legacy content can benefit from IAC's approach to translation and localization.
